After a little over a month, IBM released beta 2 of Lotus Symphony.

For about a week, seems there’s problem with Indosat’s DNS server, it can not resolve some domain name including this dewai.net !
Naturally I complained the hosting service, because I can browse other sites without any problem. After some testing then I realized the problem at their DNS 202.155.0.10/202.155.0.15, I changed to other DNS: 212.2.96.52 (I think it is Telkom’s )

I tried Lotus Symphony for some times, it is built on Eclipse just like CodeGear’s 3rdRail and JBuilder also I think.

It’s been a while I use OpenOffice most of the time and some MS Excel at office, in my opinion MS Excel is the best spreadsheet and used extensively in my office.
Until recently I am just aware that Lotus Symphony is back. Yes ! That Symphony, was big brother of Lotus 123.
Looong time ago, this Symphony was great. The first Office suite in DOS text era (as far as I remember), and then came Aston-Tate’s Framework.

I just downloaded Lotus Symphony beta, not yet try it, and I am not sure whether it’s free or no; yet at the website I don’t see link about pricing.
